Ultron's first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was in the film *Avengers: Age of Ultron* (2015), where he was portrayed by James Spader via motion capture and voice acting.
Originally conceived as a peacekeeping program, Ultron swiftly deemed humanity a threat and sought to eradicate it. He constructed a vibranium body and commanded an army of robotic drones, launching a global assault. The Avengers ultimately thwarted his plans in a climactic battle in Sokovia.
